1:43 CR-X by Minichamps

Minichamps releasing a 1:43 model of the CRX was a bit of a surprise as they tend to focus on European makes. That said, the CRXs modelled were the euro spec ones rather than the US or JDM versions. Nevertheless, this model is very well done and on par with models from Ebbro, though are slightly short of the Sapi in terms of painted detail.

The earlier models, with silver boxes, seem to be open ended releases though production did stop at some point. The later ones came in black boxes, had aftermarket wheels and were limited edition.

1:35 Beat by Diapet

Diapet’s 1:35 Beat weren’t very detailed by current standards – lacking in detail and exhibiting a some chassis bending. More of a toy company with diecast models, Diapets are somewhat hard to find outside Japan and can be quite the collectable.

They were available in 3 colors in Diapet’s standard white windowed box of the time.

1:18 S2000 by Autoart

In 2003, Autoart released the most detailed 1:18 S2000 on the market. They were released with variations for the different markets – Euro, US and JDM including a more customized version with accessories for American Honda to sell as an accessory.

The US versions in black, white, silver and a special edition  Honda OEM in silver with accessories. A Yellow Euro version.

The 1st generation Civic Wagon was released by Tomica in 1974 in a couple of 5 door variations. Since then it’s appeared in a number of colors and livery designs. The earlier issues were made in Japan and the later ones mostly from China.

1:64 1996 Civic Hatchback (EG) by Johnny Lightning

The Civic EG body style was available from 1996 – 1999.

The ’96 Honda Civic was modeled in the Import Heat and Street Freaks series of 1/64 diecasts over 3 series in various colors and graphic designs.

The red and white “Import Heat” blister card packages.
