• Growth Habit: Upright and bushy, often described as having a rounded canopy.
• Leaf Colors: The leaves emerge with a bright pinkish-red in spring, turn to deep purple-red during summer, and transition to fiery scarlet and orange in fall .
• Bark: Features distinctive dark red-to-black bark that adds interest year-round.

Growing Conditions

• Light Preference: Thrives best in partial shade to full sun. In hotter climates, some afternoon shade is beneficial to prevent leaf scorch .
