AUTOart has done it again! This time, in releasing the most accurate 1:43 scale mass produced model to date! The level of detail in this Honda Integra Type R is better than many 1:18 scale cars. This model comes in Black, in Blue and in White. The cars come in nice blue and black windowed card boxes with a clear case and angled black base.
Championship White (53241)
Electric Blue (53243)
Black (53242)
The details…. All the external badges are accurately reproduced. The defroster and antenna lines in the rear window are accurately reproduced as well. The Brembo calipers are red and have “Brembo” on them. The 10 spoke wheels are detailed including the “H” center caps. The headlights and tail lights have the correct insides even. A first for a 1:43 scale car – the front wheels steer!
The undercarriage is even painted/colored to resemble the real car!
Even though you have to peer through the slightly less than crystal clear windows, the interior does not lack detail. While the rear window defoster lines are a bit thick to scale, their design resembling that of the actual car is not lost. From the “Type R” badge on the center console to the titanium shift knob to the dash gauges and vents to the Momo 3 spoke steering with the “H” logo to the “Recaro” marked and color coordinated seats, this car does not disappoint in level of interior detail.
The attention to detail does not stop with the car – even there is even a piece of plastic that’s molded to the undercarriage (and exhaust pipe) in order to raise the car off the base without damaging the delicate undercarriage details.
