Tomica released the last in the series of Honda City models from the 80s when the City Turbo II was released in 1984. The Honda City, City Turbo, City Turbo II and City Cabriolet using a very similar casting – with variations in the hood, wheel arches and paint, in the case of the Cabriolet.

Tomica released the Honda City originally while they still had the yellow and black boxes under No.54. The City first appeared in the Tomica lineup as the regular City, albeit short-lived with supposedly just 6-months on the market before it was superceded by the City Turbo. then eventually the Turbo II. The interior includes a casted Motocompo – a motorized scooter that was an option.
Pearl white/red – first release
In May 1984, continuing with Tomica No.54 but sporting the newer box design, the City Turbo II was released in Pearl white City Turbo II with red markings and a pearl white base.
Pearl white/blue – Kawaguchiko Motor Museum special custom edition
Like the red-interior version, this pearl white with blue markings and a pearl white base sports a matching blue interior.

Red – 30th Anniversary 24 set exclusive
From the 30th Anniversary 24-set of limited edition cars, the red Turbo II with white graphics didn’t sport “Turbo II” on the doors. The base plate is red.

Raw metal/white
Way before Hot Wheels issued Zamac versions from the factory, Tomica released a rare bare metal City Turbo II with a pearl white base.
Blue – 30th Anniversary Kuji I set exclusive
From Tomica’s first Kuji set in 2000, commemorating it’s 30th anniversary, a dark blue City Turbo II was released.
Silver/black – Tokyo Tomica Expo 2005
A Special Model No. 10, the City Turbo II in silver/black commemorated the Tokyo Tomica Expo in August 2005.

Orange No.11 – Honda Racing Collection
As part of a lottery series, Tomica introduced the Honda Racing Collection of a series of 6 Hondas that included this orange Honda City Turbo II R based on the 1983 One Make Race Series.
Gold – Tomica Kuki XIII
Part of a set of 10 lottery cars for 2010, following a Showa Era theme, this Honda City Turbo II was released in 2010. The other Honda in the series was a Honda F1 RA302.
