Tomica’s No.120, often referred to as the “Safety” or “Patrol” variation is a reuse of the casting of No.78, that of the original NSX released in 1991.

White on red – first release (JP)

This NSX Police car was the first release of Tomica No.120. Made in Japan, it included a decal sheet for tailoring the police department to which the car would be stationed with.

As with most regular Tomica releases, this model comes both boxed and in card/blister.

Subsequently, manufacturing of this model was moved to China – with some minor visible differences that we’ll see shorty.

White on grey – U-Mate diorama exclusive     

Here’s an NSX Police version that came in a U-Mate diorama package.  The black section in the front of the car is different from the regular versions. In addition, the lightbar is boomerang shaped and the interior is grey:

Blue on grey – Police Special Model Set exclusive

This is an unusual one from the Tomica Police Special Model Set No. 1, a boxed-set that includes 3 other police cars. A blue with grey interior and a single light dome on the right side of the roof.

The Twin Ring Motegi NSX Safety Car by Tomica is exclusively available only via Honda Direct Marketing.
